Waxing & Threading

What is Waxing?

Waxing is the process of hair removal, strip wax is used to remove the hair from the root. Hair must be at least ¼ of an inch long to ensure hair can be removed properly; the skin is then prepared with an oil to protect it from wax. After the treatment is complete, a soothing waxing oil that calms and removes residue is applied.

Cream-based waxes are available for sensitive areas of skin.

What is Threading?

Threading can achieve a level of precision no other treatment can; creating fierce, professionally defined eyebrows. Threading is also used to remove unwanted hair on other areas of the face for example.

Key Benefits

  • Unlike with shaving, unwanted hair does not grow back thicker or darker as the root has been weakened (this helps with the problem of ingrown hairs)
  • Wax strips achieve even hair removal, dead skin cells are removed also, making body areas even smoother.
  • Not nasty shaving cuts
  • A professional service with results unachievable through home waxing
  • Slow body hair growth (often taking between 4-6 weeks)
